A core aim of our festival is to inspire the next generation to fall in love with creating and potentially take up a career in the arts.

With the help of generous sponsorship from Fort Vale here are some of the kid’s art events we provided at the festival.

Launching the festival

We sent Beverley Chapelhow of Atelier Arts into St Micheal and St John’s Primary School in Clitheroe to deliver an arts workshop, inspired by Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. We then took their artwork to create a large scale piece that represented the Castle and our festival brand. With the help of drone photographer Simon Hardman we filmed the transition from one to the other in a fun afternoon with the kids.
